Glimmers of a New Dawn

Part 1:

Just Three Pillars

Well can you believe it, I've reached 50 posts! I know its 50 because I managed to save all my drafts from the old sites into notepad text files. Being part of the Tarot Blog Hop and The Reiki Blog Hop back in the day, has seen me hosting on three different providers, with this one being my fourth. Please excuse my nostalgia-fest, its been a very curious few days, and I think I am still working through some of it.

That is the beauty of these hops, its my way of working through significant events, which always seem to fall just at the time of the hops.

Today and indeed this turn of the wheel is no different, thankfully it links well with the topic of Dawn. When I was reading through all the different prompts, I kept finding words from within the different parts standing out for me. “Symbolism”, “Explore the Idea”, “New Cycles Dawning”, Glimmers of Light”, Wake You Up…” and all I could think was ‘Oy Vey, Sign Posting…’.

If you’re not familiar with that concept, Sign Posting, is when significant events, such as words, images, music, and/or people seem to keep reappearing, usually over the course of a day/week etc. They’re our way of receiving guidance, from not only the higher self but that which is great than us, depending on how your world/universal view is.

I tend to see them as ‘Glimmers of Light’ from ‘The All That Is’ the idea of these glimmers is to ‘Wake Me Up’, which is why you’ll notice the Magus and Hierophant from The Rohig Tarot featuring in this first part of the post. They are symbolising this idea of receiving knowledge from an outside source.

They are in essence pondering the message or knowledge being received. Which is exactly where I am right now, pondering on what has been received, and at this point in the post, I’m still uncertain what to do with it.

If I am ever trying to resolve/make sense of things that are personal in nature, then I always look to The Hermit, I’ve long since recognised that we share a kindred bond; I have a strong past life connection with religion, and indeed the secret nature that the Hermit represents.

This is because in many ways I am an observer, the outsider, and perhaps even the go-between both in the spiritual and physical sense.

In this guise, the Hermit is to coin a Tai Chi / Qi Gong phrase, pushing the clouds apart. However, to make sense of this we need to take a step back in time to Friday that has just passed us by, as that is where this actually begins…

Friday...
