Transitions

Full Circle

Conclusion: Full CircleConConclusion: Full Circle

There is one last spread that you can work with, which actually involves the Wheel of the Year itself.

The beauty of this creation, is that the starting point is the festival or sabbat close to the date or time that you perform the reading.

So for example, position one for this spread is Litha, the Summer Solstice. You would follow the spread in a clockwise fashion, with the last card in the position of Beltane, which would give you a full circle.

So let's quickly work this through with a random set of cards.

Full Circle Spread

Litha - Queen of Hazards

Lughnasa - Knight of Hazards

Mabon - 3 of Wands

Samhain - 10 of Wands

Yule - 10 of Swords

Imbloc - 4 of Pentacles

Ostara - Litha

Beltane - Scrying

Gods - Autumn

Goddesses - Summer

The rule of thumb I go by with this spread is look at each card individually, and then see the whole picture for the year, look at what themes run through it, and look for mirrors, where a card is mirrored later in the spread, try also laying them in the circle, and if possible overlay with the moon cycles as well, see where there is clearings, and new energies happening.

With the Gods and Goddesses cards, they are the polarities, Yin and Yang, North, and South, positive cards in these houses, dictate positive outcomes, whereas cards that represent upheavals, sudden changes, or cautions, are a signifier for a year of change and release.

Well that brings me to the end of this journey of the cards, and I hope it finds you well.  Please say hello to my fellow hoppers through the links above and if you get a little lost, there is always the master list to fall back on.

So until next time Tarot fans, fare thee well :-) and thanks for hopping by. If you have a moment, I'd love to hear your thoughts, you can do so by leaving me a comment below.

Those are some interesting spreads! I liked hearing your story and how it fits into the theme.
It's fascinating that an interview for a city job had you doing tarot readings for a crowd!
