Welcome, to the first musing of 2018, however its not the first blog I have written in 2018, there have been two already since January, you can find them under the Reiki or Tarot Blog Hop links. Through out January, I have this vibe that the training wheels are off! At the start I didn’t really have a clue what this meant or what it referred to. I have already been aware of the massive changes going on within me and around me, so I had believed this to be another confirmation and reference to that, but now here at the start of February, I believe it is something more.

In order to paint this picture and help you follow this narrative more easily, I could take you back to the very start and chart my history, but let’s face it this is not a biography nor is it ‘This is Your Life’ – so let’s pretend that I did and instead let me give you the potted history. I started in Media, went into Hairdressing, followed on into Communications and gave up the traditional career path after Computing. Most of these were big hitters, HNC for Media, Hairdressing and Computing, DiPHE for Communications. I spent the next 7 – 8 years off the grid being a carer and learning more about Humanity or lack there of than is really needed in one lifetime, let alone realising that truly no-one cares unless they are your family or a truly close friend.

Alright maybe I am being a bit unfair… There are those that care, it was just within those 7 years I rarely met them outside of friends and family. I realise that I wanted to become the one that cared about what someone was going through but not try to ‘fix’ them – however more on that piece in a few – During one of those 7 years, I had a conversation about hands on healing and that came back to re-visit me in the December of 2012 and set me off on a journey that helped me to discover more of the skills that I was going to need. Reiki, Wicca, Astrology, Creative Writing, Angel Healing and Angelic Reiki. As well as Kundalini Reiki, Shamballah MDH and Karuna Reiki… It was a huge period of change over something like 2 – 3 years.

So that almost brings things up to date, however there is another piece that I have to add to this and its where the ‘fixing’ comes into play; truthfully until around 2016, I was an unintentional ‘fixer’ I wanted everything and everyone to be better, but I didn’t understand that I wasn’t the one that needed to do the fixing, it had to come from the other person, they had to be the one to fix and mend their own lives. It’s a generational/societal trait; I recognise that now, I just didn’t see or even know that back then. That was until I went through a lot of clearance work, in 2016 and also 2017 as well; huge amounts shifted and a lot of re-wiring went on as well.

More on that in a moment, I just wanted to add another piece that is relevant to where I am now. During 2015, I had gone through a very bad time at college, from bullying to just not liking the environment or the course, however I knew that Body work was part of my journey. I left the college and went into training, I had a very good experience doing my Crystal Therapy Diploma, so I thought this was the route to take, through that I discovered the roots of Massage, well one of the roots anyway, and I followed that path as well. I had started to work out why but only a glimmer of it.

In the periods between training, I decided to keep things fresh in my head, so I started learning about Chinese Massage and Acupressure and in the background completed the Advanced Crystal Healer Diploma that I had started and sort of forgot. What I began to realise from doing the Chinese Massage and Acupressure, was that Chinese Medicine really interested me and attracted me but also the De-armouring work and training that I had received also played apart in this, again I just hadn’t worked out how they all came together as yet, but that was because this recipe wasn’t complete, Chinese Medicine, isn’t just massage, it is acupuncture, acupressure, massage, Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Herbalism. Sadly my allergies wouldn’t forgive me for getting involved with that one, so I improvised and added Meridian Psychotherapy or EFT as it is more commonly known.

It really felt and seems like a lot of study, but it is paying off! Yes I still have the traditional Western massage training to complete, but that is also coming to its end. True there are maybe one or two other things that need to be wrapped up but the building blocks are in place and almost ready to come of the ground and grow. I haven’t been able to see the bigger picture, only the seeds and the parts that were needed not where it was going or what it was going to become. I guess while I was so wrapped up in trying to gather everything it wasn’t high on my list but I am starting to see just how important it needs to be. I am starting to realise just what I need to do.

Naturally I am not as naive to just blurt it all out in text for everyone to see, not until I get my safeguards in place! I have been on the receiving end of those who are self-serving, and those who are more than happy to take the work of others and claim it as their own. However there is a fine line, between silence and secretive; just as there is a fine line between ambiguous and confusing, it is about saying just enough to help folks understand, but not too much that those who would try and profit can steal the ideas to make their own… It is amazing what you learn when you start working with official channels, they tell you what to be careful of and how to protect yourself!

It’s not just body work that I am interested in, it also the soul work and clearing work, which is why these skills are so vital; knowledge as well as instinct and understanding are key to the process that I am working to understand, the healing that we go through and how all the skills in energy work, healing, crystals, sounds and everything else that I am waiting to complete fit into this, naturally before I can bring this into the light I have to wait, but I am looking forward to putting out there and being open about it as well.
